MAG BUCKETS DO YOU USE THEM?

got some cows out because the grass is there and why not its dry and i would like to graze some off before it takes off ? i put a couple of mag buckets out as well as the ring feeder has some old hay in, a couple of cows seem to me to get addicted to licking the buckets , what do others do , do they like me put a couple of buckets out over the grazing paddock moving the buckets as the grazing changes or ration them?

I use them for a week before turnout and about 2 weeks after turnout and then stop them in favour of a general purpose mineral tipped over rock salt. Tubs attract badgers so i try not to use them to much. I always put a few bales of hay outside when i turn out to bind the cows up abit and used to smother them in loose calcified mag but i cant get any atm.
