I would like to see a JCB that could run 24/7/365 getting abused by 700 different drivers and only take a few hours off every 6 months in the middle of the night!

It really annoys me when people use that phrase,
It should either be:
  1. 24/7/52 (24 hrs a day/7 days a week/52 weeks a year)
  2. or 24/365 (24 hrs a day/365 days a year)

No, windy hill on M62 is higher, it also at the time had the widest single span bridge across it, that is called scammonden bridge. You are thinking of Tan Hill pub, that is the highest pub and it is in swaledale, not shap.
Windy hill is the place you hear mentioned on traffic news quite often as "little house on the prarie" many are lead to believe they had to split the motorway because the owner of the time would not sell, this is not the case, the farm is called stott hall, and the M62 is split simply down to the geology of the land it crosses over.
i have often passed that farm and wondered why cheers @llamedos must be fun living there

I used to make it my mission to explore every track when I was a rep. It made the day a bit more interesting:)

There can't be many farms with a motorway either side. When younger and travelling north from relatives in herts can always remember thinking what a weird place to have a farm :D Presume its the same place

this is Stott Hall, you are looking toward Scammonden Bridge in the far distance on the picture, just after J22 on M62 east bound, some of his pasture is on the right of the farm across the west bound carriage way, and gotten to via an underpass.
