Our normal drilling time when soil temperatures are OK. We like to harvest early to mid September, and get our winter barley and beans drilled in good time.Ours went in today.
What was the rationale for drilling so early?
Barley and beans separately or mixed crop like Groove Armada ?Our normal drilling time when soil temperatures are OK. We like to harvest early to mid September, and get our winter barley and beans drilled in good time.
Together, combined then rolled to go in the milking cow ration.Barley and beans separately or mixed crop like Groove Armada ?
Do the beans mean you don’t need N fert for the barley ?Together, combined then rolled to go in the milking cow ration.
Sorry, misread your reply. Barley as one crop, oats and beans together, no nitrogen for the oats. Photo from a week agoDo the beans mean you don’t need N fert for the barley ?
Our machine won't do the the beans open the rollers and allow the grain to pass through unscathed.Together, combined then rolled to go in the milking cow ration.
