Been asked to look into these drive couplings for someone on a new major.
do they have a common industry name/term? Not one I’ve come across before

They should be a similar size and are a straight swap for the older ones and if not you can slide the shaft along the splines a bit, although you do need cap screws instead of bolts. They will never break but on the other hand they dont flex much either. Fitted loads

They wont compress. They are virtually solid
