Our pan mixer is about worn out. Was going to get some 10mm rolled out for the sides. Now if I went another 45cm higher . Would this put to much strain on the gear box. Possibly put some legs up side down. Would it work

there could be a brand on it, maybe a plate on the box, do some research maybe and you might gleam some info.

Hmmmm. I see you can get a 1800 litre now. They just go bigger diameter. I bet there gearboxes ant any bigger and there would be more pressure going wider than higher .

If you think it's possible, then give it a try. I'd want advice or to view a larger one before spending my money though. On top of that, I rarely find it's cheaper to make something than buy it.

You'd want a fair size tractor for a bigger one too!

Yes I'm looking at new but she needs relining so if I stuck another foot on top it would be grand. She's done us well so I might sell her as she is. There's a polish bloke on flee bay will do one for 2800. A 1800 litre. But a don't know what the warranty would be like. I see the man from kington is a good bit more
