Making most of slatted shed

Have a slatted sheepshed which we use for lambing/ housing for shearing etc. Enough space to house 450/500 ewes comfortably . However once July is over it stays empty for 6 months. Seems a waste to have a shed like that empty for so long, what would you suggest we could do with it when it's empty ? Turkeys ? Chickens ? Store lambs ? Goats ?

Not desperate to use it but if there's a way of making a bit of money from something then why not . Obviously too late for this year I know .

Turkeys is a good use. We signed up with Moy Park. They supply two batches of turkeys a year. The shed (solid floor) is 90 x 60 and they put in 2,000 turkeys. You have them for about 8 weeks per batch and they supply everything. You are paid for looking after them.

This is something I've thought about doing rather than have shed idle for most of the year. Is there much involved in getting set up with Moy Park? Are turkey's hard to rear? Is it profitable? Is there much paperwork involved from Dept?
