Has anyone considered skipping pding a cow that’s been served and not came back in season according to the collars? Mixture of reasons we’ve missed the last couple of vet days and built up a bunch that haven’t came back in!

Only milk just under 100 so not to bad manage even before we had heat detection.

I would trust collars.

yeah normally first day in vein then next 2-4 days in rump. better frying the liver than her dying.

250 cows 80 heifers no pd ing to check in calf. What we will do is pd anything that has put in an odd heat since service before drying off. We may find one or two but now don't have the odd empty cow in dry cow shed

When you get a better than 90% heat detection you are getting a better than 90% pd at 28days and high 90s by 56 days .
