After a few years the water pipes have started to furr up with deposits.

We have filtration but it doesn't seem to be removing 100% does anyone have any solution for reduced flow to flush through and clear the pipes?

TIA

Only bother we have had was the pipe between the airation cylinder & the filter cylinder.
Hadn`t been touched for 8 years, Pipe looked 1/2 capacity renewed 2m pipe. Job sorted

We have removed a short section and treated with neat hypo, which fizzed it away.

Worry about doing the kilometres of pipe is it blocking up with the sediment.

Sections may have to be done at a time

At what concentration?

Can I start weak and work up to slowly clear?
We have a bore at 20-24m depth in sand and create a loop and circulate monthly , on/off for 2 or 3 hrs and then run to waste.
Work on approx 4kg crystals per flush but its only a short circuit. The depth of water in the bore will determine amount required

This is in the field pipes, borehole is clear

Open the end so there's no resistance, run water and add air in bursts, the agitation and mix helps with soft buildup like that. Start with all the ends open to flush the biggest main, then do the next size smaller one at a time.

The air thing really does work
I put a T at borehole head, non return valve, and an air line connector
If you've a tractor with air line on it, it makes for quick and easy process
