TW15 - I have a chart for osr for our Marconi. Give me a ring - I'll photocopy mine for you. It's an A model. Is that any different?

Marconis aren't great in osr & weren't really designed for it so treat with caution. I tend to trust my Sinar more (about the only time that happens!).

Can't remember, sorry. I'll be able to give you an answer as soon as I get some osr cut!

I have scanned in my Marconi calibration sheet as a pdf. How do I upload it here please?

Edit - Uploaded. Thanks.

Just to the right of the 'Post Reply' button is one that says 'Upload a File', just click on this and then find the file on your PC and it will upload and appear as a download at the bottom of your reply. :)

We have grown a variety of odd seed crops over the years for a local company. It is easy to drop in and get an oven test on a sample and then build our own chart for the farm moisture meter. The one constant is that what ever crop you are testing, if it is below 15% on the wheat scale then it is dry - rape, turnip, swede, mustard etc would be under 9% - Wheat, barley, broad beans, vetch etc would be under 15%. Cress was the only thing we have grown that did not quite follow this pattern.

I'm not claiming this is good enough to argue about drying charges, but it is a good rule of thumb for when to combine
