Massey 135 Questions

Well folks, currently doing up a round axle 135 and have had to get a new grille, it came in what i presume is just black primer, so has anyone here ever painted one before as i'm wondering what is the best paint to use and what is the best way to go about it

The grills are best sprayed from all 4 directions to ensure paint is in the mesh holes
