Can anyone give me an idea is it much of a job to fix this free play thanks

Pins and bushes if you're lucky

If it's worn holes oval it'll be more of a problem.

Is there bushes in the hydraulic ram attaching points

I suspect you need to drill them right out and weld in new lugs etc. However it is not normally recomended as you will not get the strength into these pieces , which from memory, are cast steel.
New pins and Bushes may help but I suspect the holes are oval and the effect will be short lived

Needs line bored and then sleeved back to original size to take new standard bushes and pins.
