Check the drain pipe they can block causing it to ice up we had exactly the same problem on our 6465 couldn't cool on hot days

Use to have that problem with a 5455 on a loader stacking bale's as when it was dusty the drain pipe would block solid and had to find a stick or a dock steam and rod it clear .

Yes it definitely sounds like the evaporator is icing up, this could be one of 3 things, too much gas in the system (should be 1.55KG), blocked drain or possibly the thermostat sensor is not fitted in the correct position on the evaporator. Note that icing up of the evaporator is nothing to do with moisture inside the system.
After you have run the system for a while you could unbolt the metal roof panel and look at the evaporator, you will should be able to see if there is ice on it. Hopefully you will be able to find a decent agricultural ac specialist of MF dealer, ac people who deal with cars are often afraid of tractors and there are plenty of people who will simply 'puff some gas in' without really knowing what they are doing.

The drain pipes are not blocked and there is a puddle on the ground both sides after the aircon has been on for 10 mins.
I have taken the roof panel off and there is no evidence of icing up.

Could be temp probe in the roof, my 6470 kept freezing up, they do go quite regularly

As well as the resistor,resistor connections,fans wear out and the blower speed switch burns out but most of the solutions are on the forum perhaps we can have a special page where all the problems can be grouped together!!!!!!!

Jesus, there has to be be a decent a/c guy near you? This would take 30mins max to diagnose!!
