Massey 6170 mudguard change

I need to change the big wheel mudguards on my 6170

I've tried two bolts and they have both snapped has anyone changed these before are the bolts under the cab plastic

and advice appreciated

the bolts are a bit of threaded bar welded to the cab frame unless you are on about the ones onto the black plastic back mudguard
