I'm sure that you're not as stupid as I am but I once couldn't get the linkage to work so removed the armrest switch and tried to clean it and ended up breaking it. Bought and fitted a new switch, still didn't work.
I then noticed the rate of drop knob was all the way round at the padlock....

a few options on rocker switch have you fitted same as was fitted or different one ?
Do you not get flashing light sequence on the lift control panel if the switch is at fault ? I’m getting no red lights on that panel atal ? Just illumination of the dials that’s it

is it the type with the diode that you have to solder in the harness ? @dee what are your thoughts
I wasn't aware of having to fit a diode only knew you need to fit the new switch and make sure it ends in M5 as earlier ones didn't work properly.

@Jerseyjames remove the r/h panel beside the seat. You will see the linkage calculator. (Silver box)
Below this there is plugs that have red and purple wires in them.
Check that none of the wires are corroded and that you have power in the red wires.
There could be a 3.amp fuse in there too check it's ok
