That spare plug in the hand rail is just on same circuit as the handrail worklights are on. Plug a light in & you will see

That’s correct, whether it’s for worklights or a set of headlights for when you have something on the front linkage.

On another subject do the buttons give up, I’ve put a set of led worklights on the rear and handrail and they worked fine but now I push the button they flick on for a second then go off, if you press the button about 30 times you might get them to stay on, didn’t know if it was the pad that was knackered or not enough draw to make them work, seems strange as they worked when I first fit them. The top led ones front and back work fine so I’m guessing it’s the button on the pad, new control pad sounds expensive.

thanks gents for your ideas/help .im looking to fit Guardian high power WL63 50 W cob led 4000 lumen worklights,crumbs they are bright ! makes the standard lights look yellow !! i want to put them on a separate switch as will not want the rear ones (which work off same switch on when im snowploughing etc)
