Massey 7480

hello all my 7480 seems to lurch forward when you put the shuttle in reverse, when stacking bales you can place a bale down then change to reverse and it will stop then lurch forward before reversing away I’m using pedal mode with the loader but it does sometimes do the same thing when mowing ect in stick mode
Any ideas?

It’s vario there isn’t any packs to drag just a swash plate that changes angle to change direction

I had this yesterday on my 7495 whilst using forager mode to do some front mounted topping. Nearly put the topper through a nice new fence! I put it down to the delay between shifting from fwd to rev that you always get and the computer getting confused for those couple of seconds.

That’s what I’m woundering but it can be bloody annoying when trying to stack bales it will dam near push the stack over if you arnt careful

Mine seemed worse if I braked, bolted forwards like I had stood on the accelerator pedal!

My clutch can be jumpy when trying to inch up to things so I tend not to use it, but I did try putting the shuttle in neutral then reverse and it still does the same

Yea it was done a while back might be worth doing it again
