Massey 7724 in work switch

Does anyone know a way of getting an external signal from the datatronic in work trigger.

I am trying to get a signal to turn a stocks seeder on and off as arms are raised and lowered without fitting a finger switch on the linkage.

There is a plug that gives 12v when programmed to by the datatronic. You would need to use it to energise a relay as the current wouldn't be enough

Thanks. Think I've got that. Yes got to use a relay as the signal wire going to earth to switch the seeder into work.

Really wanted to know if the socket can be made live using a work trigger rather than headland management button ie automatically as the arms are lowered. It will work as I've got it just that the headland management button is a fiddle.

X687 plug only works when set up through headland management sequence, sorry

You can use a mercury tilt switch for such a thing, commonly found on old Volvo (car) tailgates, they use them to activate the boot light. Work very well!!
