Does anyone know what should be fitted in this hole on the cover of the hydraulic pump ? Someone replaced the pump and seemed to have misplaced this? Bolt? Sender unit? Was filled with silicone but that didn't hold and is now pissing oil out when running

Hard to see from the picture, but could it be a bolt hole for one of the bolts securing the hyd pump to the inside of that cover. I have a vauge feeling that there were 2 bolts from the inside and 1 from the outside.

Yes, one of the bolts holding the hydraulic pump did not get re-fitted when they replaced the pump
Hole was sealed with a bit of silicone, but that popped out after a while

Again going back into the mental archives, I think I once came across a new pump that had a hole missing. Had to drill and tap a hole in the aluminium body of the pump.
