Found what looks like a tidy 2wd MF5445 to replace a IH hydro84.

Would be used as a straw chopping tractor most of the time with occasional use on the tedder and rake.

its a 2006 so does anyone know if the clutch is wet/dry and what gearbox it would have?

Also does this range/age of tractor have any known issues?

Best to ask or view. At that age it is probably either a dry clutch manual shuttle with the big-horn black shuttle lever, or a Speedshift with wet clutch and power shuttle.
Known issue is the manual clutch being extremely sharp and the bowden cables that work the forward/reverse getting sticky with age. Speedshift versions can suffer from flywheel damper wear. Other than that, the normal wear and tear issues you find with any other tractor of that age and hours. Special attention should be given to signs of regular servicing.

Not sure when Dyna4 was introduced. There is a small possibility that it was introduced back then, but I think it was 2008?

Avoid like the plague if its a mechanical shuttle. We had one it was terrible.

Have a 07 5455 speed shift now with a power shuttle. Much much better. Clutch switches, flywheel dampner at a few thousand hours, cab fan switches not much else wrong.

Underneath i suspect it's a very similar tractor to the sh 6245 i bought back in 2007 to do similar work so it's probably got the speedshift gearbox with power shuttle. Only issue on mine has been the BOC switch (bottom of clutch) which are troublesome on 62's and IIRC on later models but can be bought from dealer for less than fifty quid and changed in about half an hour by myself.

I would say it's an ideal tractor for what you want and if it's the one i've seen advertised, at reasonable money, i did wonder myself if i could find a use for it but i'm sure others would say i've allready got more tractors than i need.
