Looking for some info on my massey 50ex with powershuttle gearbox.
Works well in gears 1,3 and 4 but doesnt seem to engage 2nd properly. The gearstick seems to click in but when moving the shuttle in to gear it either grinds and pops the stick back to neutral or drives slightly before jumping back into neutral.
Assume there is a selector issue but would be good to hear of any experience on these transmissions.
Looking at the parts book there is a side cover that could be removed for inspection but dont want to waste time if its easier to take the whole box out for repairs.
