Max image size

What’s the size limit in mates uploaded here?

Recently upgraded my phone and now every time I try and upload an image I get a message saying it’s too big.

We have a current issue where heif images on iPhones are getting that message even if they are below the 16mb limit.

we are working on this.

all other image types seem unaffected.

tou can change the settings > camera > format

to the below

Just tried that but still the same issue??

It only changes for future photos taken. Not the historic ones. So old photos won’t load until the issue is fixed. I’m speaking to developers this afternoon.

Take a screenshot of the picture from your phone and use the screenshot (cropped if required) which usually is of a much smaller size.
