Mc-Hale 5500 chains

Splashed out this year on new chains all round on the baler. My dilemma is, on the back chain that runs the rollers on the tail gate, is there a easy way of changing it without taking the side panel off or do i just take the panel off.

Can you not join the new chain to the end of the old one and pull it through?

Just take the panel off. Do no harm to have a look and a bit of a clean out in there.
