How much lift movement do you have when you’re using an A frame & tongue on your hedge trimmers? Just put ours on a different tractor to normal and can’t get any lift from the arms - it’s pretty much locked at the current height so am wondering if this is normal/whether the set up with the A frame is wrong…?

Can you put up some pictures, will depend on the age of your machine but there will almost certainly be some adjustment

Will try and get some later today - the tractors a 6920 ‘07 and the trimmer is a ‘16 yr.

with the A frame on my PA24 its solid , no up or down

Pa93 on a 6920 here and the only movement is the slop in the holes. The frame is quite a tight fit between the lift arms but is fine.

I thought the whole purpose of the A frame was to prevent movement.
