McCormick CX100 Diesel Leak

My cx100 started leaking diesel yesterday, it seems to be coming out of a small round hole in what I think is the diesel injection pump. Does anyone know why this is? I have attached a link to video.

That hole is there to stop diesel leaking into the engine oil. If it's leaking,the seal in the end of the pump needs replaced.

I think you need to time your engine up before removing the pump as pump will need to be taken to a company that recon pumps as the seal has gone there is other seals inside pump that will need changing while it is apart and then they test it before sending it back to you for refitting , as the post above that hole is there to stop diesel getting into engine oil and to let you now seal has gone ,my MTX 155 did the same cost me about £100 for pump to be done +cost of mechanic taking pump of then back on . I think they put a pin in pump to lock it in place so it don't turn as you refit it ,then remove pin I think
