Hello everyone
A cheap cabbed CX90 has popped up locally and I'm keen to grab it. From what I can see it's a synchronized shuttle type and the seller says the clutch has recently been replaced and the next service is due soon (so assume a reasonable history of regular servicing). Hourmeter says 7,400 and I reckon it's done a lot of loader and feeding out work in it's time.
My time in the auto electrical trade showed me the usual niggles of A/C system problems, alternators, starters, safety switches and dashes failing. Apart from that I don't seem to recall seeing anything major, especially on the more basic machines without xtrashift and a power shuttle. What are these machines like to live with as they get older? Any up and coming major components that are likely to explode?
Or should I just stay away and stick with the old Same?
