Morning all.

Got an mtx 140 with the speed sequencer transmission that has lost all the gears above 8. Ive swapped the relays around behind the right hand console hoping that one had packed up but still nothing.
Everything was working okay till i dropped it down to 6 to move some bales and now it wont move in any gears above 8, all the numbers on the readout show 9-16 but it wont drive.
Praying its electrical as i dont fancy getting inside the back end, about 6500 hrs btw.
Thanks in advance David.

You need to look underneath at the valve with the rods on behind the R/H rear wheel and see if anything is moving when you go above 8, get someone else sat in the seat working it as your watching. If the electrical side Says its working it should only be a mechanical fault. The transmission is the same as a normal box just with a valve bolted to the side that moves the gear linkage for you, a bit crude and temperamental but works to a degree [emoji849][emoji57]

Well, had the wheel off and a bit of a play today and I see what you mean about crude.
Anyway, the rods were all working okay, but the rod that was playing up goes through a nut screwed into the housing which had unscrewed itself almost all the way out. Tightened the nut back up and all the gears are back, thanks for the help everyone, really appreciate it.
