Just bought a new one .....is there a reason why a 'pin hitch' is used rather than an 'eye' arrangement . On my old parmiter I welded on an eye but not sure whethe I should on this new one !

Use to be just an insert but they took a lot to whack out

Ours had the insert but had it removed as part of the PDI.

We never use drawbar here. Even Round baler is on pick up hitch
