Knife doesn't seem to pull back to cut net, quick kick and works spring seems fine and moves smoothly, what am I missing

I take it you sprayed some wd 40 on both ends of those nylon bushes?

Yep, was sticking when used it couple week ago, but was first field of the year and seemed fine after 5 bales and today seemed to work after 20 bales, will spray it again tomorrow and hope that it wasn't enough I sprayed

If you stand on top, the left hand side has a bar that moves,, this also needs lubricant as it gets very dry. Imo it's not a great design and let's the baler down.
