Hi I'm currently running a mchale hs2000 and this is the third one ive had. This one hasn' been as good due to them changing the hydraulics and we don't run them on load sensing due to tractor. But we are looking to change it to keep reliabilty up. But not sure I'm a fan of the new orbital as it's so big compared to hs2000. Are there any users out there running any of the machines mentioned in title and have any experiences to share? Thanks.

we bought new orbital this season just gone, had 2 hs 2000 .. but the last one the satelites much slower because of health and safety issues, was 30 rpm but Mchale had to slow them to 25 .the orbital a lot quicker. We cover lot more ground in the day. downside few issues .1 cut and could play up sorted 2 oil leaks on valve chest ongoing 3 had new control box 4 our dealer Farol have lost the franchise for Mchale. watch out for your fingers when loading film. but still pleased with Orbital overall just one other point does not cope with misshapen bales very well

Thankyou very helpful didn't know farols had lost dealership?? For a new machine still sounds like you'e had a problem or two. Do you run yours on load sensing? I spoke to a chap yesterday who had bought one and he had said there's won' cope with light or miss sharen bales either . Did u consider anything else before you bought your orbital?

run ours on constant pump just set the flow No didnt really look at anything else mainly because we must have had at least 6 various Mchale. Farol are only 2 miles from us and whatever we buy from them backup has been first class also Mchale have been very good It a bit of a blow no local dealer now

The lad who took over our wrapping business has an orbital and is loving it, but he said you can’t leave the bales too long before wrapping them as they can slip down into the rollers as they have no belts.

We have a Kuhn 4004, had it new 4 seasons ago, very fast machine and very stable with odd shaped bales on banks, and will do every bale size going all adjusted from tractor cab, very impressed with it, 25k bales and not one fault yet.....that's tempting fate!!
Not too up on model numbers but is the wrapper that does square and round bales that telescopes out?

We have a 2014 Tanco 1400EH, bought it new after hearing good things from other users and after a demo. Some small issues since we've had it but nothing major. For speed it will not be beaten, 120 bales an hour at its ease. Most I've had is 141 in an hour. We are changing it for the new 1400V this year as they have ironed out some of the teething problems. They seem to listen to customers opinions on what should be changed or upgraded.
We ran a Mchale 991c for 13 years but I wouldn't touch an orbital after using a Tanco.

141....that's a bale every 25 seconds....load, move while wrapping, drop off and re-load....all in 25 seconds.... do you go fishing as well?

They will wrap a bale, i.e. Lift, wrap, drop and reset in 22 seconds. It needed some fine tuning through the control box to get the settings to the most efficient cycle on the tractor it was attached to. Nothing will come close to them for wrapping.

Ive had a dealer on and offered me a new Kuhn 1810 for a tad over 15k. So that is looking like a go. As it's also 0percent finance. But still only one year warranty unlike McHale. Maxxum-man do you mean russels have a Kuhn square/round wrapper in?
