Mecmar grain drier

I am in the need of a grain drier that is capable of moving between 2 sites, 1 mile apart and have come across the Mecmar range as a serious contender.

One I have found is a 28t batch model. Trouble is it needs a 100amp per phase, so at present I am not sure if my supplies are big enough even though they both have 100amp fuses/phase. Therefore I am thinking of the pto drive or dual drive variants.

Anyone have much experience with Mecmar as a manufacturer for service and backup? Also what are their driers like compared to other marques both on performance and cost?

I am thinking of having a 30t hopper on each site, so I can get to fill ups and hoping to discharge into a barn doorway somehow where a telehandler can push each load to the back of the barn

We run one at work, 30t model I think well built dryer with plenty of steel in it. Think its an 05 model and done 1400 burner hours and only replaced one set of belts on it which we got next day and replaced logically.

You will be fine now with McArthurs.
Back in 90s you were pretty much on your own for service, and warranty parts were despatched for us to fit ourselves.
They are good driers made largely from components that could be sourced elsewhere anyway if needed.

We have a PTO 25T model and move it between sites. Would go for anelectric one next and run a genny if power not available on farm.

Good backup and parts supply from McArthers. They carry a good range of spares and can jump in the pickup and go and collect if need be.
