MEES the domestic minimum energy efficiency

Anyone had dealings with letting agency’s or companies wanting to upgrade rental property efficiency by installing new insulation over an existing interior wall by installing a stud wall with a insulation ?

allegedly the government plan to change the current rule of a minimum of band e to d in the not so distant future ?

Any advice? TIA

Ah yes that was a typo I meant c, have you got any references to sources of information, we don’t really want to be installing retro fit interior cladding if we can help it .....

Yes EPC, the legislation that covers this is called MEES.

Ah yes that was a typo I meant c, have you got any references to sources of information, we don’t really want to be installing retro fit interior cladding if we can help it .....

to get to a c in a older property is a tough ask ,you have to insulate walls and floors to get there plus a green system ie solar ,air source etc
