In terms of specific sectoral exposure:

Almost 50% of our beef exports go to UK,

About 22% of our dairy exports go to the UK, of which:

41% is cheese, 26% is butter and 12% is SMP;

Cheddar is the largest dairy export to the UK - 47% (81k tonnes) of Irish cheddar cheese is exported to the UK.

Some 47% of cheddar exported to the UK is of Irish origin.

99% of mushroom and 71% forestry products and more than 62% of prepared consumer foods are exported to the UK.

Wouldnt surprise me if the UK does it’s own deal very quickly with Mercosur once we leave.

ok, if we do a deal with Mercosur, and probably will, where does that leave the eu countries exporting to uk?
I really can't understand the irish stance, when they were in sh#t financially a few years back, and we helped bail them out, if we leave with no deal, aren't they totally shafted? couldn't give a s##t about the rest of Europe, they haven't been 'helpful' at all, either now or when Cameron was trying to get a little bit of help to stay in.
and as indeviduals, or group, there's b all we can do to change whatever, and if ever, whats, going to happen.

What a defeatist attitude

What's the biggest issue with the public . Climate change . Why are not the NFU pushing the isue of buying British rather than Rainforest beef

It's crazy that we are encouraging Brazil to reclaim land for producing beef. While here we are encouraged to leave wild areas.
What about support for local produced product instead of burning oil hauling it across the Atlantic ocean

The biggest issue with the public (as you put it) is nothing to do with climate change, it's with their pocket, people buy what they can afford and most buy cheap food

Dont agree. When they see those children in tears In the Amazon on news reports because they are being burnt out of their homes it has an effect
