Hi,

I’ve got a 32.6 and I am mid way through replacing the cups on the front axle - no biggy. The brakes are very sticky as well, not an uncommon problem from what I can look up. While I am half way through the job I am thinking I should strip out the whole axle, remove the callipers and give them a good clean.

Is there anything I need to know? I assume I need to just unbolt the axle, disconnect steering ram pipes, brake pipes etc. What is the best way to disconnect the main drive coming into the front diff?

Many thanks

That’s the hard way they will come out without removal the axle.
