For southern parts of england next tuesday, risk of thunder shows that may and I quote
"The public should be aware of the risk of localised disruption to travel, and more generally to summer holiday activities"
and you also need to wipe your backsides after going to the loo!!

Be glad if we do get a good down pour, good couple of hours soaking will do wonders.

I think the potential of very heavy storms is there, hail, flooding etc, They are getting quite excited about it on the weather forum I frequent, saying they could be like the storms in July of 2008, so best get your canoe out!!!

Could do with some rain.my beet land from last nov was a mess.was cultivated twice in April, then sumoed and had mustard planted.cut down 4 ft tall mustard 2 weeks ago and tried to plough.ground is like concrete and all huge horse head size lumps.the rain will be welcome.may be too late for the wheat that has died of on sandy gravelly land.

Been cold and damp, low cloud here all day.

Been camping with kids, missus and family in Beddgelert,N.Wales which is normally wet at the best of times but it has been glorious (thanks Simon).

Returning home today the parched mountainsides would have not looked out of place on a Greek island.

Stunning,absolutely stunning.(y)

(just don't go there when its raining,95% time.)
