Metal detecting permission scotland

Hi, I have just moved back to the Scottish borders. I am looking for some fields, woodland to detect upon. I will take care and not upset any livestock etc. I am very honest and trustworthy and any finds will be shown to the farmer/landowners Any help is appreciated thanks Adrian.

There's metal detectors from the berwick area have access on a few places around Duns you'll just need to go knocking on doors .

I think there's possibly a club that way but not sure . I've definitely seen a few different folk on our neighbours land over the years

i will have a look and see, as you say i will just have to start chapping doors, just don't want to be a pest i know everyone is so busy hence i posted on here
