Don't suppose theres any farmers around North East England that has any fields/pasture/woodland available to detect on? Been asking locally around South Shields with not much hope..I can get you aerosols/paint/oils in return for permission to detect on your land ? here's my email of anybody's interested. You’d have queues of farmers hassling you asking you to farm it...
how funny would that be... all you detectorists on your forums slagging off the farmers for breaking gate posts, for leaving a rough finish on a reseed and their broken bits of shear bolts giving off readings!

Funnily enough I've not found many sheared bolts ? plenty of shotgun shells though. I'll keep that in mind davie ? I always take away any bits of scrap I dig up and show them to the land owner to see if it's a bit they've been looking for.
