Mf 250.

Hiya.
Vintage mf 250,sankey cab.
Is this warning light for air filter or hydraulic/transmission filter-underneath with 3 bolts retaining, or are the 2 sensors combined,for both.
Just recently changed the transmission filter,plus new oil. Options.....
Ta.

Seem to remember at that time 200 and 600 series, some tractors did have a transmission filter warning switch wired into the same light as the air filter light.
The picture shows the air filter light, disconnect the wire on the switch, it will be near the air filter or on the air intake hose and see if the light goes off. If it doesn't have a look for the hyd filter switch.

Charging
Engine oil pressure
Transmission oil pressure
Air filter blockage
Main beam
Not quite.
If you have the long suction filter, which I think you have, the sensor for it is teed into the air filter light as it was on late model 500 series. This was because there was nowhere else in that light cluster to have a dedicated light. Separate air filter and hyd filter lights only came in with 600 series which had 2 rows of lights
