MF 2640 4wd transmission/clutch issues

Hi all, I have a MF 2640 4wd tractor. It will barely move and sometimes not at all. The tractor runs great, loader and all hydraulics seem to work fine. I am trying to get any ideas before have to split it, which I'm not looking forward to. Thanks for any help.

Ours were pretty good at spitting out the crank end seal and allowing engine oil to contaminate the clutch. Long time ago now, but I don’t think splitting it was too much of a job, I think the MF fitters were pretty used to it.
Yours may be a tad longer to do if it has a loader fitted.

splitting is it not to bad, i split and removed a t/a box from a 2620 and re assembled, managed to do it all on my own, just get a decent trolley jack to pull the front fowrad on.

Mine was 2wd but it should not be to much more work on 4wd.
