MF 3085 dynashift feels stuck

If you have it in 1-4 and forwards or backwards tractor won't roll.

Pull it out of either 1-4 or other leaver into N and it will roll.

Seems free on linkage, reset linkage lengths to 40mm. Tightened grub screw onto shaft.

It selects every gear including low range and dynashift works.

I'm thinking it's somehow trying to select 2 gears.

Definitely gears not handbrake or brakes as releases when taken out of gear.

Nope.
Comes in and out 4wd as should, I'm 99/ got to be gears as when parked on a hill only thing that lets it roll is put one stick in N.
Dip clutch do anything else still holds itself.
(Was going to turn engine off to prove nothing with that)

Going to take gear linkage off to prove that otherwise suspected bent fork?

Surely if trying to engage another gear it woukd be making unsavoury noises, possible bearing on its way out?

It rolls free in c and d
Holds firm in a and b.
Never did the fuses.

Any suggestions, will a service make that much difference or is it dynashift out

Low pressure system wasn’t liking it which was caused by filters and oil. You may or may not be getting a warning light. It cured me but may not cure you but it’s a handy enough fix.

After being thoroughly cleaned, examine the condition of bearing raceways and external surfaces, the amount of cage wear, the increase in internal clearance, and degradation of tolerances. Carefully check these points and examine for possible damage or other abnormalities to determine if the bearing can be reused.

For small, non-separable ball bearings, hold the bearing horizontally in one hand, and then rotate the outer ring to confirm that it turns smoothly. Separable bearings such as tapered roller bearings may be checked by individually examining their rolling elements and the outer ring raceway.

Large bearings cannot be rotated manually; however, the rolling elements, raceway surfaces, cages, and contact surface of the ribs should be carefully examined visually.
For all your bearing solutions, contact BYWB Bearing.
Very concerned that if I put one of them bearings in I'd be re visiting it very soon!
Made in China

Just paid extra for timken bearings over koyo on a different job,
