MF 35 HELP

Just popped in see a old chap i have not seen for a while who is mid restoration on said tractor. The lift arm shafts have broken off their splines and he has a new one on the bench to fit.He is worried about taking the top of to do the swap and is worried about any parts inside which may come of and drop into the depths of the backend .Are there anythings to worry about whilst doing the job?

Take the right hand side cover off the gearbox and remove the roller tie/wedge the fork forward

Wrao abit of wire or string around the roller when installing if you drop it easily retrieved that way then remove wire once fitted
