MF 38 combine electrical fault

Are there any Massey combine experts out there? Our MF 38 combine has come up with a fault on the screen - "Feeder - electrical fault". We have just had the elevator drive pulley off to fit a new grease nipple but there isnt a sensor on that shaft. We were trying to sort a problem with the reel speed adjustment (which we traced to a problem with the electric motor that operates the hydraulic flow control). Any suggestions please?

Turned out to be the wires had got pulled out of a multiplug in case its of help to anyone else
