Hello all

Hoping someone will be able to help me work out the problem with my 5445 dyna 4 that has shifting problems.
Have what i'm assuming is fault code 25 flashing on the range indicators (number 4 light flashes 2 times then 5 times then so fast you can't count so i'm guessing that tells you end of code)
Tractor will not move forward of backward and cant get it to change range or powershift. Have tested the BOC and TOC switches they are working. Have also replaced one of the gear selection switches on the tranny as this had been broken off (this was the start of the problems)
Any help with the code will help finding the source.
Thanks

fault 25 means: Top-of-Clutch (TOC) pedal switch Open circuit or short circuit at 0V. How did you check switch? You need to check switch signal wire to controller. Controller i think is under the dashboard

There are plungers in behind the switches on the trans they can fall into the transmission when switch is removed if you turn key on and not start it does it say it's all ready in a gear.

Thanks for your replies. Talked to my dealer told me that 25 was multiple gear selection signal error. Checked the plugers in all the switches to make sure they moved freely and had not fallen out no problem found. Moved some switches around, that just changed the range light that was flashing the code.
Seemed to indicate that the new switch was faulty, tested the switch it was perfect. Than my mate that picked the switch up for me let me know I had left the invoice at his place and that there was a bag with a little nylon washer stapled to it, thought to myself that doesn't matter my brother installed the washer off the broken switch when putting the new one in or did he?
No was = bad clearances from the plunger to the switch = dead tractor. Installed the washer and it's now running perfect. Hopefully this thread will help anyone else that ever has similar problems with a dyna 4. Thanks for your help
