Mf 5470 problem

Hi I got a mf 5470 2008 I was going along the road I got it up to 37k then it drop down to 30k this happened a few times it would normally be doing 45k.
Just wondering what's could be up with it

How do you mean it dropped speed. Did the readout simply change or did it actually slow down?

It actually slowed down

Did it lose power. Hunt? Drawing air? Dirty filters? Dirt or other obstacle floating in the tank?

It did lose some power it did have a very dirty air intake filter

Dirty air filter would tend to strangle them and or make it smokey, if it got up to speed then fell back I’d suspect fuel starvation of some kind.
