Went to move the above tractor and the linkage doesn't work. I have no lights on the lift panel not even the red exclaimation mark. Have checked the fuses at the front under the air cleaner and fuse box. Have cleaned and check earths. Have used the buttons down by the left hand wheel and the linkage goes up and down. Any ideas.

TIA

My mate had very similar issues with his 6290 and there was a wire rubbed hard in behind the RH rear wheel I seam to remember as he removed a rear wheel to replace the brakes and found the cure to a long term problem in minutes.

IIRC there’s a fuse under the hydraulic console on the right, 3 amp if my memory serves me right, probably 20 years since I had a similar problem and it was that fuse which was blown.

Apparently it’s not on every model and version but if it is it’s right down the bottom of the console where the loom runs on the cab floor. There’s a few plugs there aswell and I’ve had pins corrode in them.

Pretty sure you will have checked, but the 6140 we had the linkage wouldn’t work if the spool valves weren’t in neutral, but I can’t remember if it displayed a red light or not.

the panel should have 3 live feeds to it when the tractor is running first is permanent live second when ignition is on third when engine running take the multi pin plug off the back of the panel and find them report back what you find also what is the volt meter saying ?
