On 690 4wd front axle is there a way to check the oil level in the centre of the axle ?

I have had power steering ram oil leak that i have fixed with new seals , there was oil dripping of the bottom of axle that may be from the power steering or the axle the axle but it does not seem to have any obvious oil leak but need to check the oil levels to confirm but where do you check the oil level ?
there seems to be a drain plug at the centre but no oil level plug, there also appears to be a further small drop box or reduction box at the rear of the axle where the input shaft comes in does that have a seperate oil capacity and or level check also ??

There is a 14mm headed bung about half way up on the rear of the axle either near the power steering ram or in the other side. This is a filler and level bung. The Dropbox shares the same oil but has it's own drain bung. You probably have a leak where the axle pivots in that dropbox this was very common when the pivot bushes got worn. Top up with Ep80/90 oil or simular
