Hi again friends, I have a question about the side mirrors on the 7480'n, both heating wires and electrical adjustment work properly, they can also be folded forwards and backwards, but they are not compact when standing in normal position, they are loose and moves back and forth, has checked if there are new liners / overhaul sets without success .... anyone have good tips to make the mirror arms stand still / fixed?

I have the same on a tier 3 6480, bought new arms was a big enough job re wiring etc fitting the inside guides for the slide etc.
Got to the end and mirror was still loose so tightened grub bolt, repeat, repeat, crack!!!
New mirror arm cracked! FFS!
I did a soldered joint on all wires with heat shrink etc. Propper job.
They were supposed to be britax but didn't seem the quality I would expect from them. Was disappointed when all the internal guides weren't included. Most folk would bin the electric so wouldn't have opened the mirror arm to find out.

Thanks, good to know, i am "handy" and like to find good solution on things like this, if i solve the problem without buying new i let you know....this is not a big problem, most would not care...but i hate it, it is like a fly inside a car, cant stop to hate it😠 not want to use 400us on new arms because of this, they still look like new.
