Thanks @raiderz. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree so had me a little concerned at first given so many lights. It happened as I was on the road travelling up a hill.
It is most probably the square filter if yours is fitted with it. could also be the pickup pipe out the tank, if changing the filters makes no difference try blowing back into the tank down the pipe. Seems to be a common issue once these tractors reach a certain age
Thanks for the advice. I'll pop to the dealers next week and pick up some more filters. It happened again yesterday at the start of the day when I pulled into a field and went up a slope.
more often than not its a piece of rubbish in the banjo fitting where the inlet fuel line goes onto the pump or the pick up in the tank is blocked,i would be deffinatly checking them before spending money on filters
If you do end up needing a new electric lift pump, price one up at your local New Holland dealer. It is the same as the one fitted to a TM140. It was less than half the price of the MF one!
