MF135 multipower

Can you please advise what the lever on the response plate controls.
The lever to the hydraulic pump is broken
I cannot replace the response side plate as the screw holes are not aligning.
Is it possible to remove the hydraulic pump through the top plate opening or is it essential to split the tractor to remove the hydraulic pump with the multipower unit?

Multi Power oil pump has to come out of the front of box,
Response plate only fits 1 way, or holes won't line up,
