Mf6180 - more issues!

Hi all, following on for my last session at Christmas, the tractor was parked up for a couple of months.
Another issue has now arisen. The tractor doesn’t want to go into gear and there is no Dayna letter lights on the dash.
There is new battery’s in her, all the lights light up when turned on.
Hydraulics, lift arms, Steering all works. Pedal has resistance
It has to be something simple?
Thanks
Paul

So in effect little or no power getting to the box under the rh step. Electrics is not a strong point, I’ll check this out and let you know how I get on. Thanks

Hi folks, having had a couple of guys out to look at this problem, no one can seem to find an electrical fault. One man is adamant that it is mechanical! The clutch pedal has resistance and i bled it again. It will go Into the forward/ back easily but once you try to put it into gear the tractor moves but doesn’t go into the gear. Vise Versa you can put it in gear but when you try to put it into forward/reverse same thing. Any suggestions.
Thanks

I’d say your trouble could be in the clutch control valve on the side of the gearbox where you bleed it or even the seals in the clutch master cylinder unlikely to be a problem with the actual clutch so you hopefully won’t have to spilt it, il give you £2000 for the tractor how about that ;):ROFLMAO:

I have replaced the seals in the clutch master cylinder, they were past their best and seems like I cant get it bled properly. Then randomly it decided not to start at all, dash lights up, wires all connected just wont turn the starter. At that point i closed the door.

I'm assuming it a fuse but it to good a weather to be stuck indoors with this one.

Davedb if you add a 1 before or a 0 to the end, its yours!

We have a 6150 sometimes it won't turn starter motor over .it's the large plug in the loom just above the engine.give it a wigal or better still pull it apart and clean the contacts

Just short the starter motor to test but that plug under the bonnet is probably the problem

Still can’t get this back on the road. Split the tractor, all looks good. Checked all sensors, again all seems to be ok. The valve block where you bleed at was full of dirty and have that all clean along with new filters, etc. I now have a good clutch but still won’t go into gear. Pulling hair out!

I had a 6150 like that once, used to do your nut in, that and it had a habit of just cutting out on the road, was glad when I got rid of it.
