Mice in grainstore roof

One of our grainstores has a foam insulated roof. For some years now mice ( and even one or two rats on occasions) have been pretty much resident in the roof insulation. We have tried spraying it with diesel during the empty store period, but the problem persists. These last few months they seem more numerous than ever. Any ideas for a product that might deter them if sprayed onto the roof insulation?

My neighbours had this problem, they threatened a match but in the end I think the pest controller managed to get on top of it somehow.

Absolute nightmare

we had similar problems with rats, try to catch one a live and then take you a little gasoline on the rat and the ignition on. rat is not damaged except for the coat, then release it you will not have any problems with rats
